The car immediately became a “must-have” among the American elite, whose representatives wanted to enjoy the sunny weather and the wind blowing in their faces while driving around the city. The design of the 250 GT California is just perfect with regard to the “insides” - under the hood was a V12 engine with a power of 280 horsepower.
This Ferrari model was good both in the city and on the highway, allowing you to feel comfort even at maximum speed. After more than half a century, the Ferrari 250 California has become a real rarity that many collectors want to see in their garage. Today, a convertible can only be purchased at auction, the last time it was put up for auction in Paris in 2015 and was sold for more than $ 16 million.

1957 Ferrari 250 TR
Another Ferrari 250 model, the 1957 Testa Rossa. Its name speaks for itself, “Red Head” has become a symbol of its generation, and today it’s disturbing the minds of sports car fans around the world. Testa Rossa was so ahead of the competition that it won three races in Le Mans at the turn of the 50s and 60s. The model was personally designed by Scalletti, the best Ferrari designer of the time, who participated in the development of car bodies for royal people.
A distinctive feature of the design of the road version of the 250 TR is the wings, separated from the hood. The result was a car with the appearance of a Formula 1 car, but used for commuting to and from work. This modification of the 250th Ferrari and today is attractive to collectors. The latest copy was sold at an auction in 2011, the price of the car was $ 16.4 million.

Most people watching the Ferrari lineup are probably familiar with the 250 GTO. This line was produced from 1962 to 1964, during which time only 39 copies saw the light of the world, making them one of the rarest Ferrari models that collectors all over the world are chasing. The car's performance was so high that it won three FIA GT3 races in a row.
In addition to high-quality hardware, the Ferrari 250 GTO boasts an impeccable design developed by Pininfarina under the leadership of Scalletti himself. A copy of this Ferrari line is literally impossible to find. Rumor has it that one car went under the hammer at a private auction for an amazing amount of $ 31 million.

1967 Ferrari 275 GTB
The Ferrari 275 GTB was an upgraded version of the Berlinetta Ferrari GT series, designed by Pinifarin. Like most of the iconic Ferrari models, the 275 GTB was manually designed by Scalletti. This car quickly gained popularity among motorists, rightfully receiving the title of the iconic supercar.
It is noteworthy that the Ferrari 275 GTB was the first model of a road car equipped with an independent rear suspension, as well as with a transmission installed according to the Transaxle scheme. The body design was ahead of its time and became the prototype of the Berlinetta that we see today.
This model is on the list of the most beautiful cars in the world according to most-beauty.ru.
5
1984 Ferrari 288 GTO
The 288 GTO mid-engined supercar was released 22 years after the first Gran Turismo Omologato (250 GTO) arrived. And although now the GTO models have significantly reduced power, then they worked to their fullest. 288 GTO included parts made on the basis of composite materials, which allowed to strengthen the chassis while maintaining minimal weight.
As a result, the performance of the model was at the highest level, the car worked and looked much better than its value. Despite the relatively large number of cars produced (only road versions were released in the amount of 272 units), 288 GTO is highly regarded today. At the 2015 auction, a 1984 model was sold for $ 2.75 million.
6
1987 Ferrari F40
The Ferrari F40 replaces the aforementioned Ferrari 288 GTO. It is the F40 that is the last model developed and released during the lifetime of the great Enzo Ferrari, but not only for this reason it remains one of the most popular supercars of the Italian manufacturer. Realizing that this was his last brainchild, Enzo Ferrari put all his skills and talents into him, wanting to get the best car on the planet.
To some extent, his wishes came true. Taking impressive power and tremendous speed from the 288 GTO, the F40 received an updated design, the hallmark of which was a high spoiler, although it did not fit the smooth body of the car, but should have prevented the Ferrari from taking off, since the car developed a really crazy speed of 315 km / h .
7
2002 Ferrari Enzo
Named after its founding father, 2002 Enzo Ferrari was one of the most iconic models of the Italian auto concern in terms of development approach. The car was equipped with modern F1 technology. Everything was thought out here, from the transmission, continuing to the carbon fiber racing bodywork and ending with carbon-ceramic composite disc brakes.
The car was also equipped with a stimulating aerodynamic system that manually activated the rear wing to increase downforce while developing speeds of up to 300 km / h. 2002 Enzo was made in a sensational design. The front part resembled Formula 1 cars, the doors had the design of "butterfly wings." Such a body drove any man crazy, forcing him to experience childish delight. The car retained a staggering speed and remained in demand even today.
8
2009 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
Model 599 GTB was produced in an exceptional design, and had the power to shame any competitor. The car was first presented at the Motor Show in Geneva in 2006, collecting a lot of positive reviews in the press and among motorists.
An elongated hood is a tribute to the 1967 Ferrari Daytona, and embossed bends are a special development of designers, which has become the hallmark of the 599 GTB. The model received a 6-liter V12 engine, borrowed from Enzo, making it the most powerful production car in the world. This "filling" helped Fiorano reach 620 hp. In our virtual “garage of dreams most-beauty.ru” somewhere between the Jaguar E-Type and the Lotus Elise Sport 2006 stands precisely this model of Ferrari.

2011 Ferrari 458 Italia
Posted by IFCAR / wikipedia.org.
This is one of the most valuable cars in the world in terms of the perfect balance between precisely designed aerodynamics and attractive design. The idea of the developers was to create a beautiful car that would have less weight and better aerodynamic performance than the previous Ferrari F430, which did not meet the expectations of experts.
We add that the 458 Italia is much more economical than its predecessor in terms of fuel consumption. The design of this model is somewhat reminiscent of the Ferrari Enzo, which indicates its importance for the company, while the 4.5-liter V8 engine is inferior in power. It is noteworthy that the car was even praised by the famous Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson, calling the Ferrari 458 the only car he expected in 2010.
10
2013 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta
Berlinetta replaced the losing popularity of the 599 GTB, and burst into the world of supercars with a design reminiscent of the 275 and 250 GT. Like the 458, the F12 Berlinetta combines elegant style with impeccable aerodynamic proportions, as evidenced by the meticulously thought out ventilation openings directing the air flow in such a way as to increase downforce.
The outlines of the car create the illusion of movement, even when the car is in the parking lot. Manufacturers proudly declare that this Ferrari model is the fastest among the "serial" after the 599 GTO. In addition to the impressive features hidden under a magnificent body, the car can travel long distances at medium speed with maximum comfort. By the way, it was this model that many motorists criticized for their appearance. We wrote about it in an article about the ugliest cars, although of course we don’t think so.
Finally
More than 120 different models have been produced under the Ferrari brand. Among them were unsuccessful cars, as well as those that made a splash in the car market. It is difficult to single out the best among many decent cars, each of which has its own advantages.
The editors of most-beauty are waiting for your feedback. Write in the comments which model of this Italian brand you like the most and why.
